Another great weekend for our Powerballers organization!
18u and 17u teams both had showcases this past weekend. The 18u team was down at Delaware University and the 17's were at East Stroudsburg University. Both teams showed very well over the weekend giving the ballplayers an opportunity to be seen by college coaches.
Our 16u team had off this weekend but a lot of them took advantage of the 17u showcase.
Our 15u team once again went 3-1 on the weekend bringing their record to 6-2 this fall. Coach Patch is doing a wonderful job with his team as they are becoming a must follow on game changer.
Our 13u team changed their luck after going 0-3 last weekend. They made it to the championship game this weekend going 3-1. Our Powerballers ran into a good team in Baseball U Philly falling 5-0 behind good pitching from Baseball U team. Coach Martino did a great job with the boys at practice this week and the results showed.
Our 12u team coming off a long weekend last week winning the championship in Diamond Nation continued with the hot bats on Saturday as they totalled 27 runs in two games. Coach Bob and Coach Kash have done a great job working together in a short time together to have this team working together like it's mid Summer. Even tho this team is our newest team in our organization they are progressing their passion like they have been here for years. They were looking for the big hit on Sunday to advance them to the next game but unlike last week's heroics they fell short by 1 run. That will only motivate this team for this weekend at Perfect Game.
